Installing Ryviu product review blocks for your Shopify's 2.0 OS themes

Setting up Ryviu review widgets on your Shopify 2.0 OS theme is straightforward and requires no coding skills. Follow these steps to integrate the review blocks effectively.

Shopify's Starter plan does not allow editing or customizing the theme, so Ryviu blocks cannot be added.

Step 1. Enable Ryviu App Settings

1. Go to Online Store > Themes

2. Click Customize for your Current theme.

3. Click on the App Embeds tab on the left panel.

4. Toggle the bar to enable the Ryviu app.

   

5. Click Save.

Step 2. Add Product Review Widget section

1. Navigate to Online Store > Themes.

2. Click Customize for your Current theme.

3. Select Products from the drop-down menu and choose a product template.

   

4. Click Add section > Apps and select Product Reviews Widget.

   

5. Optional: Rearrange sections by dragging the section.

6. Click Save.

Step 3. Add Ryviu Star Rating Block

1. In the Product Information section, click hover under block, example below Title > click + icon to add block > Apps, and choose Star Ratings.

   

2. Optional: Rearrange blocks by dragging the block

3. Click Save.
