Import CSV file

Please go to your Ryviu dashboard > Products > Import Products > browse your CSV file and start importing.

Note: Please make sure you have a CSV file of the reviews you want to import and that it is formatted correctly.

You just select one of three below options to import CSV file:

  • Skip importing: if you don't want to import reviews from the CSV file for products that existed in the Ryviu dashboard.

  • Replace product reviews with new data: replace existed reviews in the Ryviu dashboard with reviews in a CSV file.

  • Merge product reviews: combine existed reviews of your products in the Ryviu dashboard and new reviews in the CSV file.

Product reviews CSV file

Please refer to the detail for fields of the CSV file and the types of information that belong in each field below.

  • product_handle (required): The product handle (Shopify), slug (WooCommerce), or friendly URL (Prestashop) of the products you want to import reviews for should be used. Please check this article to know how to get the correct product handle: Get product handle.

  • rating (required): Valid values are numbers from 1 to 5(1/2/3/4/5). Example: 5

  • title: review's title. For example, "Awesome!"

  • author (required): name of reviewers

  • email (required): email of reviewers

  • body_text: Review text.

  • body_url: Images' URLs of review (URLs separate by a comma). Example: https://cdn.shopify.com/photo-1.png,https://cdn.shopify.com/photo-2.png

  • created_at: Format should be Year-Month-Date Hour:Minute. For example: 2019-09-23 09:12. If the date format in your CSV file is not correct as required, reviews will be added to your Ryviu dashboard in real-time when you import the CSV file.

  • country_code: ISO CODES of countries contain 2 DIGIT. Example: US, UK,...

  • status: "enable" or "disable"

  • featured: "1" is featured review, "0" is not featured review

If you want to edit reviews in a CSV file before importing, we recommend you to use Google sheets to open the CSV file.
