Install Ryviu for your Woocommerce store

This guide will help you install the Ryviu plugin on your WooCommerce store. Follow these steps carefully to ensure a successful setup.

👉 Step 1. Create a Ryviu account

• Visit the Ryviu registration page and create an account.

👉 Step 2. Connect your Woocommerce store with your Ryviu account

1. Log in to your WordPress admin panel.

2. Go to Settings > General.

3. Copy the address in the WordPress Address (URL).In your Ryviu account, navigate to Settings > General.

4. Click Connect Now button.

5. Select WooCommerce in the platform, enter your WordPress Address (URL) in the Store URL field, and click Install Now.

6. Click on Approve button.

7. If you have Active status, it means your store is connected.

   

8. If you get Failed message, please get in touch with us so we can check and assist you in connecting.

   

👉Step 3. Install Ryviu plugin

1. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin.

2. Search Ryviu and click Install Now on the Ryviu – Product Reviews for WooCommerce plugin.

3. Once installed, click Activate.

👉 Step 4. Set up Ryviu plugin

1. Go to Settings > Ryviu in your WordPress admin.

2. Adjust the following settings as needed, then click the Save button.

2.1 Display:

Configure the general appearance of the Ryviu widgets by Choosing between Version 1 and Version 2 of the Reviews widget interface.

2.2 Ratings Widget

• Star rating on product page: Choose where the star rating appears on the product page and set its Priority to control the display order.

• Show average rating: Show or hide the average rating and review count.

• Star rating on collection page: Choose where the star rating appears on collection pages.

2.3 Reviews Widget

• Review box on product page: Choose how the Reviews widget is displayed on the product page.

• Title reviews tab: Customize the Reviews tab title. Use (%total_number%) to display the total number of reviews.

• Default active review tab: Make the Reviews tab active by default when opening a product page.

• Title reviews tab HTML: Enter the Reviews tab CSS selector if clicking the star rating does not open the Reviews tab automatically.

• 1 column on mobile: Display reviews in a single-column layout on mobile when using the Masonry layout.

• Write a Review button: Hide the Write a Review button for customers who are not logged in.

2.4 Questions & Answers

The Q&A widget supports the Ryviu paid plans only.

• Question and Answer: Choose how the Q&A section is displayed or use the provided PHP code/shortcode to place it anywhere on the product page.

• Title Question & Answer tab: Customize the Q&A tab title.

2.5 Compatibility & Advanced

• WordPress Theme: This setting helps resolve the conflict with the Ocean theme. If you're using the other themes for your site, please select Default.

• Cloudflare CDN & Data Rocket: If you use Cloudfare CDN & Data Rocket on your site, please enable that option to get Ryviu working well.

• Static domain (advanced): Leave blank to use your site's domain automatically, or enter a static domain if needed for staging, development, or proxy environments.

👉 Step 5. Set up your WordPress settings to make Ryviu plugin work properly.

1. Log in to your WordPress admin, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products, uncheck the Enable reviews option to disable the default review of WooCommerce, and click the Save Changes button.

2. Navigate to Settings > Permalinks > Common Settings, select Post name, then click the Save Changes button.
