Install Ryviu for your Woocommerce store

This guide will help you install the Ryviu plugin on your WooCommerce store. Follow these steps carefully to ensure a successful setup.

👉 Step 1. Create a Ryviu account

• Visit the Ryviu registration page and sign up for an account.

👉 Step 2. Connect your Woocommerce store with your Ryviu account

1. Log in to your WordPress admin panel.

2. Go to Settings > General.

3. Copy address in the WordPress Address (URL).

   

4. In your Ryviu account, navigate to Settings > General.

5. Click Connect Now button.

   

6. Select WooCommerce in platform, enter your WordPress Address (URL) in the Store URL field, and click Install Now.

7. Click on Approve button

8. If you have Active status, it means your store is connected. If not, don't hesitate to contact us so we can check and help you connect.

👉Step 3. Install Ryviu plugin

1. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin.

2. Search Ryviu and click Install Now on the Ryviu – Product Reviews for WooCommerce plugin.

   

3. Once installed, click Activate.

👉 Step 4. Set up Ryviu plugin

1. Go to Settings > Ryviu in your WordPress admin.

   

2. Adjust the following settings as needed:

   • Star rating on product page: Change the position and priority settings to change the place of star ratings.

     

   • Show average rating: Toggle to show/hide the average rating.

     

   • Star rating on collection page: Select the display location on product category pages.

     

   • Review box on product page: Adjust the display location of the review box.

   • Title reviews tab: Customize the title of the review box in the review tab.

     

   • Default active review tab: Set the review tab to open by default if multiple tabs exist.
     

   • 1 column on mobile: If your review layout is Masonry in Ryviu Settings > Customer Reviews, enable this for a single-column review layout on mobile.

   • Write a Review button: Enable/disable for logged-out customers.

   • Question and Answer: Add the Q&A widget and customize its location. You can select add it in a tab, display it at the bottom of the product page, or copy the shortcode below this setting to add it to a custom section of your product page.

     

   • Title Question & Answer tab: Set the title for the Q&A tab.

   • WordPress theme: This setting helps to fix the conflict with the theme Ocean. If you're using the other themes for your site, please select Default.

   • Cloudfare CDN & Data Rocket: If you use Cloudfare CDN & Data Rocket on your site, please enable that option to get Ryviu working well.

Questions and Answers widget supports Ryviu paid plans only.

👉 Step 5. Set up your WordPress settings to make Ryviu plugin work properly.

1. Log in to your WordPress admin, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products, uncheck the Enable reviews option to disable the default review of WooCommerce, and click the Save Changes button.

   

2. Navigate to Settings > Permalinks > Common Settings, select Post name, then click the Save Changes button.
