Whitelist IP Addresses: Add the following IPs to your server's whitelist:
13.251.113.160, 104.26.12.137, 172.67.71.182
Allow REST API Path: Ensure the path /wp-json/* is whitelisted/allowed in your security or Block Bot settings.
Visit the Ryviu registration page and create an account.
Log in to your WordPress admin panel.
Go to Settings > General and copy the WordPress Address (URL).
Log in to your Ryviu account and navigate to Settings > General.
Click Connect Now button.
Select WooCommerce in the platform, enter your WordPress Address (URL) in the Store URL field, and click Install Now.
Click Approve when prompted to authorize the connection.
If the status displays as Active, your store is successfully connected.
If you see a Failed message, please re-check the Prerequisites section above to ensure your firewall or security plugins are not blocking Ryviu's IPs or REST API.
In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin.
Search for Ryviu and locate Ryviu – Product Reviews for WooCommerce.
Click Install Now, then click Activate.
Go to Settings > Ryviu in your WordPress admin dashboard and adjust the options as needed:
4.1 Display: Choose between Version 1 and Version 2 for the Reviews widget interface.
4.2 Ratings Widget:
Star rating on product page: Select where star ratings appear on single product pages and set their Priority (order).
Show average rating: Toggle to show or hide the average star rating and total review count.
Star rating on collection page: Choose the star rating placement for collection/shop pages.
4.3 Reviews Widget:
Review box on product page: Choose the layout style for the product review box.
Title reviews tab: Customize the tab title (use %total_number% to show the review count dynamically).
Default active review tab: Enable this to open the Reviews tab automatically when a product page loads.
Title reviews tab HTML: (Optional) Enter your custom CSS selector if clicking star ratings doesn't automatically jump to the Reviews tab.
1 column on mobile: Enable a single-column layout on mobile devices when using the Masonry display.
Write a Review button: Toggle to hide the review button for non-logged-in visitors.
4.4 Questions & Answers (Paid Plans):
Question and Answer: Configure the Q&A display or use the provided PHP shortcode to insert it anywhere on your product template.
Title Question & Answer tab: Customize the Q&A tab label.
4.5 Compatibility & Advanced Settings:
WordPress Theme: Keep as Default, or select Ocean Theme if you are using OceanWP to resolve layout conflicts.
Cloudflare CDN & Data Rocket: Enable this option if your site runs on Cloudflare to prevent caching issues with review data.
Static domain (Advanced): Leave blank for standard setups. Only fill this in if using staging, proxy, or development environments.
Click Save to apply your changes.
To ensure Ryviu works seamlessly and replaces default system elements:
Disable Default WooCommerce Reviews: Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products, uncheck Enable reviews, and click Save Changes.
Set Permalinks: Go to Settings > Permalinks, select Post name under Common Settings, and click Save Changes.
Verify: Visit any product page on your storefront to confirm that the Ryviu review widget displays correctly.
