Encourage more customers to leave reviews by rewarding them with a discount code. With Discount for Reviews, you can automatically display or send a Shopify discount code after a customer submits an eligible product review.
Ryviu supports two ways to reward customers after they submit a review:
The discount code is displayed immediately in the Thank You popup after the customer submits their review.
This option is ideal if you want customers to use the code right away for their next purchase.
The discount code is sent by email after you publish the review in Ryviu.
This allows you to review customer feedback before rewarding it.
Before setting up this feature in Ryviu, create a discount code in Shopify Admin → Discounts.
Click Create discount, configure your discount, and save it. You'll use this discount code in the next step.
In your Ryviu account, go to the Reviews section.
In the Reviews page, click Discount for Reviews.
Tick in the option Enable Discount for Reviews.
Enter your Shopify discount code.
Set the minimum rating required.
Choose when customers receive the discount code: Show it right after the customer submits their review, or Email it once I approve the review.
Click Save.
Ryviu provides basic statistics to help you monitor your reward campaign.
In the discount for reviews setting page, you can view:
Total issued: total number of discount codes distributed.
Instant: number of codes shown immediately after review submission.
On approval: number of codes sent by email after review approval.
Last 7 days: number of codes issued during the last 7 days.
Last 30 days: number of codes issued during the last 30 days.
