Review widget customization FAQs

After updating any widget settings, remember to click Save to apply the changes.

Q: Where can I customize the Ryviu review widget?

A: You can customize your Ryviu widgets from the Widgets section in your Ryviu dashboard.

To customize your widget:

1. Log in to your Ryviu dashboard

2. Go to Widgets

3. Select the widget you want to edit

4. Click the Customize button of the product reviews widget.

From there, you can customize settings such as fonts, colors, review sorting, review date display, widget layout, and more.

Q: Can I customize the font for product reviews?

A: Yes. Please go to:
Widgets → Product Reviews → Customize → Typography

From there, you can change the font style and font size of your review widget.

Q: Can I change the date format or hide review dates?

A: Yes. Please go to:
Widgets → Product Reviews → Customize → Formatting:

From there, you can customize the review date format.

And hide the date in Sections by unchecking the Date time option.

Q: Can I hide review attributes such as “Ship from” or “Color”?

A: Yes. Please go to:
Widgets → Product Reviews → Customize → Sections.

Then disable the review title option.

Q: Can I translate the Ryviu widget into my website’s language?

A: Yes. English is the default language of the Ryviu widget. Ryviu also supports automatic translations for Chinese, French, Portuguese, and German.

To translate your widget, please go to:

Widgets → Product Reviews → Customize → Language

From there:

• Free plan users can manually edit the widget texts using Customize Widget Texts.

• Paid plan users can select a supported language or manually customize the texts for unsupported languages.
