Why I can't write reviews?

It's impossible to leave reviews on your product page if you're using an app or a tool to generate reviews automatically.

Ryviu offers the convenient feature of allowing users to write reviews directly on the product page, available for both Free and Premium plans. However, if you are utilizing an application or tool to automatically generate reviews, you might find yourself unable to write reviews directly on your product page.

The cause

The root of the issue lies in how these external apps or tools operate. They generate a significant number of reviews simultaneously, bombarding the Shopify Server with multiple requests in quick succession. In this case, those reviews will be marked as spam. To protect your site and your business from the harmful, your IP address may be temporarily blocked, preventing you from posting reviews.

The solution

The good news is that this blockage is not permanent. In most cases, your IP address will automatically be unblocked after a period of 2 to 3 days. Once unblocked, you should be able to leave reviews as normally.

We strong recommend you to use CSV file import feature if you want to import reviews in Bulk.
