How to Install Ryviu on Your Shopify Store

Prerequisites:
- Shopify Plan: Ryviu is compatible with all Shopify plans except the Shopify Starter plan (as it does not support app embeds).
- Theme: Ensure you are using an Online Store 2.0 theme for the best experience.

Setting up Ryviu is quick and easy. Follow this guide to enable our widgets and start showcasing social proof on your store in minutes.

👉 Step 1: Install the Ryviu App

1. Go to the Shopify App Store and search for Ryviu.

2. Click Install, then confirm the installation in your Shopify admin dashboard.

👉 Step 2: Enable App Embeds (Crucial)

1. From your Shopify admin, navigate > Sales channels > Online Store

2. In the current theme > Edit themes.

3. On the left sidebar, click the App embeds icon.

4. Toggle on the Ryviu settings.

5. CRITICAL: Click the Save button in the top right corner.

   • Note: If you don't click Save, the widgets won't appear on your storefront.

👉 Step 3: Add Widgets to Your Product Pages

Now you can choose where to display your reviews and star ratings.

1. In the theme customizer, navigate to a Product Page.

2. Under the Product Information section (or wherever you prefer), click Add block or Add section.

3. Search for Ryviu and select:

   • Star Ratings: Usually placed right under the product title.

   • Product Reviews Widget: Usually placed at the bottom of the page.

4. Drag and drop the blocks to your desired position.

5. Click Save.
